I’m pleased to announce that the buffet was a great success, despite the threatening weather. Gazebos scattered around Rosie’s garden did the trick and we only had one shower. As always a massive thanks to Rosie for letting us invade her house and garden. Thanks also to Barbara Bulman, Pamela Cunniffe and Veronica Dessent for all their help, and the folk who helped set up and dismantle the event and everyone who brought food. Thanks to Roger May for master minding the raffle which raised £245 for kissing gates and general path maintenance. It’s a lot of work for everyone involved but I think we would all agree that it is well worth it.
